VAVE Creative Director

As a VAVE Creative Director (Space Experience Design, SX) you will create the world of tomorrow with us. You will help our clients to transform their brands by using strategy, design and technology, with the full support of the best team composed of strategists, designers and programmers. In close collaboration with the management board, accountant and project management you are leading the team to achieve their goal.

Responsibilities

  • Creative management and responsible of extensive and challenging projects in the areas of architecture, interior design, exhibitions, booth design, events, showrooms, interactive exhibits and media installations
  • concept- and design development in collaboration with the Creative Team
  • leadership, coordination including but not limited to briefing the design teams, as well as briefing and guiding external project partners
  • close co-operation with the managing board, accountant and project management
  • following up project planning, budgets and time management
  • creating presentations as well presenting them in a convincing way
  • advising the client in all their creative needs

Qualifications

  • successful completed study in the area of media- or communication design, architecture or interior design
  • at least 5 years of professional experience as an Art Director in the field of space communication, space experience design, scenography, media scenography
  • distinguished conceptual and creative skills
  • excellent feeling for dynamic, rhythm, image and space design in the analog, digital and virtual space
  • Practiced in holistic design of spatial experience especially for events, booths, showroom and exhibits
  • good design understanding and a high creative sense
  • willingness to take creative responsibility
  • in charge of team leadership and responsible for communication with clients and partners
  • strong in communication and presentations and well organized
  • Decision-making and conviction. Highly persuasive
  • team spirit and taking initiative
  • good communication in both English and Mandarin, German is a plus
  • reliable network of creative partners, suppliers and freelancers
  • knowledge in programs like Rhino, Cinema 4D, 3D Max, After Effects and Adobe CS
  • willing to travel national/international
  • desirable: international experience
